Used Vauxhall Combo Life 2018 - present reliability
Category: MPV
With a cavernous interior and reasonable refinement, the Combo Life is a surprisingly useful MPV, and a good used buy.
What should I look for in a used Vauxhall Combo Life MPV?
In XL form this is a large car, so check either end for damage and scuffs and dents picked up in tight car parks. Make sure all the electrical equipment on board works as it should. Check for any signs of damage to the interior upholstery and floor from transporting large and unusually shaped objects.
What are the most common problems with a used Vauxhall Combo Life MPV?
Reported problems are few, so far. The Combo Life has an excellent reputation as a reliable workhorse. Most parts are easy to come by, as it shares many common parts with other popular Vauxhall models.
The most common causes of poor starting are a dead key fob battery, dead 12v battery, corrosion on battery terminals, bad alternator, clogged fuel filter, broken starter, blown fuse, empty gas tank, immobilizer error or any fault in the electrical system.
There have been no recalls listed for the Combo Life so far.
The Combo Life didn’t feature in our most recent What Car? Reliability Survey, but Vauxhall as a brand finished in 23rd place out of 30 manufacturers, which is quite disappointing.
