This is a small SUV that will have most likely been used by families, so check for any wear and tear on the seat trims and plastics. Check the alloy wheels for damage, and make sure the electrics all work as they should.
What are the most common problems with a used Nissan Juke hatchback?
As of writing, there have been three recalls for the Juke so far.
Reason for recall: The rear seat back may not be securely latched when returned to the upright position after folding.
Reason for recall: The drivers’ bag may tear during inflation.
Reason for recall: Fault with HEVC (Hybrid Electric Vehicle Control) software
Check with your local dealer that all remedial work has been carried out.
Is a used Nissan Juke hatchback reliable?
Nissan as a brand finished in 19th place out of 32 brands in our latest survey. The current Juke finished 12th out of 22 cars in the small SUV category.
The Juke comes with a three-year/60,000-mile warranty as standard from new, although this can be extended at an extra cost. That's pretty average, and beaten by Renault and Hyundai with their five-year warranties, and Kia's cover, which stretches to seven years.
