New Renault Megane E-Tech vs used Kia EV6 verdict
With a saving of around £14,000 off new, a year-old Kia EV6 looks like great value, but are you better off spending even less on a box-fresh Renault Megane E-Tech?...
Our verdict
Considering the Kia EV6 is a former What Car? Car of the Year, perhaps you assumed it would wipe the floor with the smaller, cheaper Renault Megane E-Tech. However, while the used EV6 is our victor, the Megane E-Tech put up a very commendable fight, holding up well against its rival and even besting it in some important areas, such as ride comfort.
On the flip side, the E-Tech's driving experience is somewhat let down by overly light steering and grabby brakes. Its range, though good in the grand scheme of things, still falls short of the EV6's: it's a similar story when it comes to practicality. Put simply, a used EV6 offers more for your money.
