Read full Mercedes G-Class reviewObjectively, there’s no reason to buy a G-Class. While it’s extraordinarily capable on rough terrain, there are better choices for on-road driving, and for considerably less money. Subjectively, though, it’s hard not to be drawn in by its old-school charms and its great sense of occasion. So, while it doesn't get a particularly high What Car? star rating, we wouldn't dream of telling you not to buy one. We would, however, be a bit jealous if you did.
