What are the most common problems with a used BMW X6 4x4?
The battery cables on MHT models' 48V starter generator might not have been sufficiently secured during the production process. This recall is said to have affected 338 vehicles and can be resolved by having your local BMW dealer check the screw connection of the 48V positive/negative battery cables on the starter generator and reworking them if necessary.
Is a used BMW X6 4x4 reliable?
The current X6 didn’t feature in our 2021 What Car? Reliability Survey, but the X5 did. It placed third out of eight cars in the luxury SUV category – a respectable result. BMW as a brand ranked 13th out of 30 manufacturers featured in the survey.
