Van and Commercial Vehicle Awards 2022: Best Compact Van
Not only is the Ford Transit Courier is perfect for the city thanks to its compact dimensions but its also great fun in the country on account of its Fiesta underpinnings...

The Ford Transit Courier might be the smallest option in Ford’s van range, but in this case small is definitely mighty. You see, the Transit Courier is good enough to be considered alongside larger vans like the Renault Kangoo, Vauxhall Combo and even its Transit sibling, the Ford Transit Connect.
Taking a good deal of its parts from the Ford Fiesta small car, the Courier is just as much fun to drive as the Fiesta van, but can claim more practicality and equal levels of comfort.
A variety of petrol and diesel engines give customers more choice than they might see in larger vans, and its nearest rival, the Fiat Fiorino, cannot compete on either running costs or practicalities.
Its folding mesh bulkhead with collapsible passenger seat increases the load length to make carrying longer items a breeze, while practical options like twin side doors and a full rubber load lining underline that the Courier is not a thrown together stop-gap to fill a product hole, but a proper commercial vehicle.
