Used test: Ford Focus Zetec S vs Seat Leon 180 FR verdict
These family cars both dip their toes into hot hatch territory, and both are great value bought used, but which should you choose?...
Our Verdict
The Ford Focus lives up to its sporty appearance in the handling department, plus it's comfortable and refined to drive. It's an excellent used buy that won't cost you too much to buy or run.
That said, we believe the slightly higher price of the Seat Leon is justified. It's even more fun to drive, has stronger performance and the steering feels more natural. Combine that with a roomier interior, better equipment and superior safety standards and, in the end, the Leon simply outguns the Focus. It's the one we'd take.
