Used test: BMW 5 Series Touring vs Jaguar XF Sportbrake verdict
If you're after a plush, capable estate car for a reasonable price, look no further than used examples of these two. But which is the better buy?...
Our Verdict
The Jaguar XF Sportbrake is a fine estate car especially at its attractive used price. If you're a keen driver, it'll fit you like a glove, with its strong performance and handling characteristics.
However, most of the time, the XF is upstaged by the more polished BMW 5 Series Touring. It's a more comfortable cruiser, yet can still impress on a twisty road. Couple that with superior practicality and interior quality, and it's the easier car to use on a regular basis. The 5 Series Touring takes the cake.
