3 November 2022 – Swace, the final frontier
The season of mists and mellow fruitfulness is once again upon us, which means one last general trim for the garden before the winter hibernation hits – and one more trip to the tip to dispose of all the cuttings.
That’s no problem for my Suzuki Swace with its large and easily accessible boot, which is a decent size with the rear seats up and impressively capacious when they're folded down. On this occasion, our three bags full didn’t even require dropping those rear seats.
It’s pretty spacious in the interior, too. Setting the driving position for 6ft-odd of me, I was then able to 'sit behind myself', though I should think anyone taller with a similar need might want to check out whether it works for them.
Three adult-sized people abreast in the rear can be done, too, as long as they’re fairly good friends. The small central tunnel makes this activity easier than it is in a number of the Swace’s rivals.
