New Skoda Fabia vs used Volkswagen T-Roc: practicality
The Fabia is a great small car, but for similar money, you could pick up a used T-Roc SUV. So, which is the better buy?...
Space and practicality
Front space, rear space, seating flexibility, boot
You might be surprised to hear this, seeing as the T-Roc is a larger car and an SUV, but the Fabia has more interior space. Well, to be more specific, it has more front leg room and rear head room. In terms of front head room and rear leg room, the pair are identical.
Still, the T-Roc isn't tight on space – it's just that the Fabia is remarkably roomy – and, because it's wider, the T-Roc is better at accommodating three rear-seat passengers.
The Fabia and T-Roc feature 60/40 split-folding rear seats, although the latter features a handy ski hatch. The T-Roc has the larger boot, too.
