New Jaguar I-Pace vs Tesla Model S
The electric car market is amping up with the arrival of the Jaguar I-Pace SUV. Has the Tesla Model S finally met its match?...
Space and practicality
Front space, rear space, seating flexibility, boot
Despite their disparate body styles, the passenger space on offer inside both cars is very similar. As a result, taller adults sitting in the front of either will have no complaints at all.
In the rear seats, leg room is identical, while the I-Pace edges it for head room and the Model S for shoulder room. The I-Pace’s roof slopes down quite aggressively, though, so taller folk in the back will feel more hemmed in.
The Model S’s main boot is massive, plus there’s a decent amount of underfloor storage and another small boot under the bonnet. The I-Pace is still decent for luggage, but its main boot is much smaller and its front boot is tiny.
