New Dacia brand identity includes a new nameplate, logo and colours, and will feature on cars from later this year...

Dacia's new identity - Jogger

Brightly coloured clothing and boldly styled hair are just some of the ways in which people express themselves when they feel it’s time for a change. In a similar way, Dacia is introducing fresh branding on all of its models from later this year.

Key changes include a new, minimalist 'Dacia' nameplate, now in white, that will feature on the steering wheels and tailgates of its models.

A new logo featuring an interlocking ‘D’ and ‘C’ will also be introduced and placed in the middle of the front grilles and in the centre of the alloy wheels.

The Dacia Sandero Stepway hatchback and Duster family SUV will get a 'Monolith Grey' finish on the roof rails and door mirrors. A new ‘Dusty Grey’ paint colour will also be available on all models.

Models that will receive the changes include the recently launched Dacia Jogger MPV, as well as the upcoming electric Dacia Spring small SUV and hybrid Bigster (which will be the cheapest large SUV sold in the UK). While the Spring hasn't yet been confirmed for sale in the UK, the Bigster is due to go on sale by 2025.

Dacia's new identity - Duster

Following in the footsteps of parent brand Renault, Dacia will gradually stop using chrome and animal-based leather in its cars, and will limit the top speed of its models to 112mph from 2023.

Orders for these new-look Dacia models will open in late June, with first deliveries due in October.
