As a zero-emissions coupé SUV, the E-tron Sportback is about as on-trend as it’s possible to be right now, but it’s far more than just a fashion accessory. For starters, air suspension is standard, with this doing a fantastic job of wafting you along when it’s in its softest setting. Indeed, the Sportback deals with all manner of lumps and bumps better than both electric and conventionally powered rivals.
Adding to the sense of calm is the fact that the Sportback generates next to no wind noise (even if you stick with conventional door mirrors rather than swapping them for the more aerodynamic optional cameras).
What’s more, standard equipment includes electrically adjustable front seats with four-way lumbar support for the driver, so you’ll have no problem getting comfortable behind the wheel – and staying that way for hours.
True, the heavily tapering roofline means six-footers will feel their hair brushing the ceiling in the rear seats, but there’s enough shoulder room for three people to sit side by side.
