Calling all Nissan drivers: try Nissan’s new electrified e-POWER tech for yourself
Sign up for the chance to test drive a brand new electrified Nissan at our VIP event, and share your thoughts with your fellow What Car? readers...
Nissan helped kick-start the all-electric revolution with the innovative Nissan LEAF back in 2010. Now, the Japanese marque is changing the game once again with its new electrified e-POWER technology. Now we're giving you the chance to sample the tech for yourself on the new Nissan Qashqai and Nissan X-Trail at a special VIP arrive-and-drive event.
To register your interest, simply fill in this form. Or, read on to find out more.
What is Nissan e-POWER?
Found in the new Nissan Qashqai and Nissan X-Trail, e-POWER is a totally unique proposition – offering the perfect stepping stone between traditional petrol power and all-electric drive. e-POWER uses an efficient 1.5-litre petrol engine to power an advanced battery and motor combination, which in turn sends power directly to the wheels. The result: total EV driving feel with instant torque, smooth acceleration and improved fuel efficiency, all without the need to plug in.
To help prove the benefits of e-POWER, we’ve partnered with Nissan to host an exclusive arrive-and-drive event to give existing Nissan owners the chance to get behind the wheel of the new Qashqai and X-Trail to try this pioneering technology for themselves. Afterwards, you'll share your thoughts with your fellow readers for a special film.
How to take part in our arrive-and-drive event
For your chance to be part of this exclusive event, all we ask in return is that you’re able to make your way to our controlled location (TBD) and you’re happy to be filmed talking about your impressions of e-POWER. We’re also happy to compensate you for time helping us create the film.
Simply fill in this form, telling us a little bit about you, your current Nissan and why you’re interested in giving e-POWER a try. If you’ve got a picture you'd be happy to send us for reference, that would be helpful, too.
